Affordable and Adorable

Good morning, babes!

How was everyone’s weekend?? I had a pretty good weekend and just laid low. I was sick all last week and am slowly getting over a cough brought on late last week. No fun at all!

Regardless, I tried my best to enjoy the three-day weekend and relax as much as possible before our trip this coming weekend.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you this adorable top that I scooped up this weekend and I love it!

It’s got high slits on either side and the color pops! I love it and I know I will be rocking this in Mexico next month.

I also got these cute sandals that are SUPER comfortable and a steal of a price.

All items of the outfit are linked below. I hope that everyone has a fabulous week ahead!

My SheIn Summer Faves

It is grey and gloomy here in Houston so I thought that putting together a round up of my favorite SheIn Summer items would be fun!

I am taking a few trips this Summer and I can see each of these pieces in my suitcase ready for any event–including a day that calls for a long Netflix binge!

As many of you already know, Summer is my favorite time of year including the fashion and SheIn has a price point that is incomparable to a ton of other places. I have linked all of these items above for you so you can shop all of these items directly.

SIDE NOTE: This is an international site so make sure you choose US Dollar for an accurate price when shopping.

Which top above was your favorite?

My Summer Must Haves

We are almost to the weekend!

This work week was especially rough on me and I am in serious need of the weekend. And some champagne. Lots of champagne.

Speaking of being in serious need of the weekend, Summer is right around the corner and I’m counting down the days. It is hands down my favorite season of the year! I feel like I thrive in the Summer with the hot sun, cold pools, weekend BBQs, and MY BIRTHDAY!

I am itching for Summer to be here which is why I’ve rounded up a few items I would consider must haves this Summer. I’m currently eyeing these lemon slip ons, these gingham shorts, and tassel earrings.

I just bought these sunnies the other day in rose gold and can’t wait for them to arrive! They’re only $12 and their direct link is below.

I hope all of you have a FAB weekend!

Maroon Tank Top

 Happy Monday!
I feel so refreshed after this weekend. Kelly and I hung low on Friday night first the first time in a long time and I needed it. We woke up early on Saturday morning and then headed out for errands. I thought I was going to apply for my passport just to find out you need an appointment to do so. Whoops!
After that fail, we just went out for a bite to eat and came home. The weather radar kept teasing us with a chance for showers and they never came. Boo. But we enjoyed the rest of our day as bumps on a log and caught up on Netflix.
On Sunday morning we woke up and it was like 60* outside! It felt incredible so we opened all of the windows and let fresh air flow through the house. We cleaned up and then headed out for lunch outside somewhere to enjoy the beautiful weather. I’m feeling good and ready to tackle the week ahead.
I want to share with you the details of this outfit. Unfortunately Nordstrom already took my top off the site, but I have linked a few similar items of each article of clothing for you to shop below.

Navy Embroidered Top

I am so ready for warm weather I can taste it. Not that this Winter has been particularly rough, but I am a southern native and if it were up to me I would have it warm and sunny year-round. It’s about that time of year for the weather to get either really warm or really chilly and I’m living for the days that are really warm.

Give me a bit of sun and I don’t miss an opportunity to lose the sleeves and soak it up! That is why this top was particularly perfect for weekend errands and a bit of fun color. I spotted this really cool color wall in the Montrose area of Houston and I thought it was the perfect pop for this outfit!

This outfit is great because it was just right for a warmer Winter afternoon and will transition into Spring excellently. Now, I’m just hoping we have more warm days than cold days because I’m at my best in the warmer months. Here’s to hoping!
